Construction Begins on Juanita Tate Marketplace in South Los Angeles

Torrance, CA - October 21, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Construction has begun on Nadel Architects-designed Juanita Tate Marketplace, a 77,096-square-foot outdoor retail center in South Los Angeles situated on the 6.5-acre site of a former scrap-metal plant. Owned by Regency Centers, the $21 million development will bring a full-service grocery and retail center to the highly underserved surrounding community.

Construction has Begun on Nadel Architects-Designed $11 Million Mixed-Use Project in Westwood Village

WASHINGTON, D.C. - October 16, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Construction has begun on the Nadel Architects-designed, $11 million mixed-use complex on the former site of Westwood’s Mann Theatre. Currently named Lindbrook-Gayley, the four-story, 80,000-square-foot building rests in the heart of Westwood Village on a mere 16,000 square feet. When completed, Lindbrook-Gayley will consist of 34 apartments, 5,250 square feet of retail space and two subterranean parking levels. The project was approved by the West Los Angeles Planning Commission in 2012 and is tentatively scheduled for completion in the summer of 2014

Construction is Complete on Nadel Architects-Designed Poway Plaza

Torrance, CA - August 6, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Construction is complete on the Nadel Architects-designed Poway Plaza, located at 13345 Poway Rd. in Poway, Calif. The $3.5 million design-build project consists of the revitalization of an existing shopping center by repurposing the old 40,000-square-foot Dixieline Lumber tenant space into two new retail spaces: a 25,000-square-foot space, which will house a Michaels arts and craft store; and a 15,000-square-foot space for a Grocery Outlet. The center will be open to the public in August 2013 with the grand opening of Michael’s and the Grocery Outlet to follow in October.

Mixed-Use Complex Designed for the Urban Professional Now Open in Downtown Los Angeles

Nadel Architects-Designed Mixed-Use Project in Laguna Hills Approved

Torrance, CA - July 2, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- The entitlement package for Nadel Architects to redesign six buildings for Oakbrook Village, a 1980s-built shopping center owned by Fritz Duda Company, was approved by the city of Laguna Hills. The shopping center is located at 24391 Avenida De La Carlota in Laguna Hills, Calif. Retail renovation and expansion designs by Nadel Architects will transform the center into a high-end, mixed-use leisure destination for local shoppers. The $80-90 million project is an integral part of the City of Laguna Hills Urban Village Specific Plan.

Nadel Architects to Reinvent Retail Center in Moorpark

Torrance, CA - January 22, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Nadel Architects has completed a façade re-design for Moorpark Town Center, an existing, 140,000-square-foot shopping center in Moorpark, Calif. The renovation adds articulation and enhancement to the exterior façade of the 1985-built center, resulting in a more appealing destination for local shoppers. Owned by Sunbelt Enterprises LLC., construction is scheduled to begin in late winter or early spring of 2013.

Nadel to Design 88,000 SF Upscale Shopping Village in Laguna Hills

Torrance, CA - November 12, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Nadel Architects has completed the design for The Village at Nellie Gale Ranch, a shopping center in Laguna Hills, Calif. The renovation and expansion project has recently received entitlement to move forward with construction, which is tentatively set to be completed in late summer/early fall 2013. To better reflect the needs of the area’s residents, Nadel will reposition the property by converting the center into an amenity for the local community.

Nadel Architects-Designed Shopping Center Breaks Ground in South Gate
