SATURDAY, JULY 21st: Office of Congressman Cardoza to Host Free Foreclosure Assistance and Recovery Workshop
WASHINGTON, DC – July 16, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — On Saturday July 21st, Congressman Dennis Cardoza (D-Merced), the California Partnership for San Joaquin Valley, and the San Joaquin Valley Housing Collaborative will be hosting a free foreclosure and recovery workshop where current and former homeowners can receive valuable advice and counseling from experts.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with housing counselors and national mortgage servicers while also being able to receive expert advice on avoiding foreclosure, credit recovery, and mortgage loan options. Additionally workshop speakers will discuss the National Mortgage Settlement Agreement and how this will affect California, in addition to tax consequences for homeowners who have been foreclosed on, refinanced, or sold their home in a short sale.
