First-time Home Buyer Workshop on Saturday, June 23

Long Beach, CA – June 19, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The Neighborhood Resource Center and Union Bank will present a “First-Time Home Buyer” workshop on Saturday, June 23, from 10 am to 1 pm at 1900 Atlantic Avenue in the second floor conference room. The workshop is free, and free parking is available behind the Union Bank building.

Representatives from Union Bank and Operation HOPE Financial Dignity Center Long Beach will talk about the home buying process, including preparing for home ownership, why credit scores are important for mortgage approval, and the pros and cons of owning versus renting.

Spanish and Khmer translation are available. Light refreshments will be served. To RSVP or for more information, call 562.570.1010.
