HGA’s Michael Ross Presents “Innovative Ideas in the Design and Delivery of Healthcare”
“Innovative Ideas in the Design and Delivery of Healthcare” by the USC Architecture Executive Education & Projessional Development Summer 2012 Session
July 20 – 21, 20012
Torrance, CA – June 20, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Designing Healthcare facilities is a challenge because they are so functionally driven. It requires an architect who understands how healthcare facilities operate, and who has an aesthetic philosophy that merges functional efficiency with design excellence.
The class will explore the challenges in achieving design excellence on complex healthcare projects from master planning to individual buildings to interior design and renovation work. We will seek to define the opportunity. We’ll discuss the criteria for design excellence: including improving operational efficiency, focusing on the patient experience and how a beautiful, carefully crafted environment contributes to healing and wellness for patients while inspiring doctors and staff.
