Funding will go to providing HIV primary health care and health education for women, children, infants and youth
WASHINGTON, D.C. – August 3, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-5) today announced that Santa Rosa Community Health Centers has been awarded $242,750 Ryan White grant through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for treatment of patients living with or at risk of exposure to HIV.
“The primary care services offered by Santa Rosa Community Health Centers to those living with or at risk of exposure to HIV are indispensable,” said Thompson. “SRCHC is a welcoming and open health home where people are treated with respect and can get the care they need. I am honored to represent them and proud of the work they’re able to do through funding provided by the Ryan White grant.”
The Ryan White grant funding supports Santa Rosa Community Health Centers’ work providing HIV primary health care and health education for women, children, infants and youth. It funds important quality initiatives such as case management and coordination of care that improves the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS.
