– March 22, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Keystone Pacific Property Management, a leading community association management company providing management services to community associations throughout Southern California, is proud to announce that Sari Welch has earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation through the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

The PCAM designation is the highest professional designation available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Experienced managers who want to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge and who wish to be recognized as one of the best and most experienced managers in the nation are encouraged to obtain this prestigious designation. To earn the PCAM designation, managers are required to have at least five years of direct community association management experience, complete a case study, and a series of classes, and must also obtain the AMS (Association Management Specialist) designation and CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation. Only a small number of managers achieve this designation each year.

“We are very proud of Sari’s perseverance and hard work in earning the highest management designation in the community association industry”, said Denise Bergstrom, vice president of association management of Keystone Pacific Property Management. “This designation proves Sari’s advanced skills and knowledge in community association management. Her commitment to continuing education and her professional development is both an asset to Keystone Pacific and the communities under her management.”

Welch began her career in property management as community association manager at Keystone Pacific Property Management in 2002. In 2009, she was promoted to her current position as a district manager based in the Irvine office. As a district manager, Sari oversees, mentors and trains a team of community association managers and support staff. She also manages a portfolio of the firm’s existing accounts throughout Orange County. Welch is an active member of the company’s communications and outreach committees.

Welch has a bachelor’s degree in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI and has obtained the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) designation through the California Association of Community Managers.

The California Associations Institute (CAI) is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations.
