Lacy Studio Lofts, New Urban Residences for Creative Angelenos, to Open in December in Historic Lincoln Heights
Spacious New Lofts Transform Blighted Properties into Artistic Nexus
L.A. Art Community & Neighborhood Invited to Multi-Media Event & Open-House Art Tours
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ — Creative Environments of Hollywood announces the grand opening of Lacy Studio Lofts, an extraordinary new 45-unit live/work loft complex at 2664 Lacy Street in Lincoln Heights, a downtown urban setting rich in Los Angeles history.
Lofts for Creative Living
Lacy Studio Lofts is a contemporary interpretation of the “New Urbanism” loft conversions that began revitalizing neglected downtowns in the early 1990s. Creative Environments took its inspiration from L.A’s legendary, high-energy centers for art, music and film.
Lacy Studio Lofts offers a cutting-edge, stylish location for the city's creative community. These extraordinary spaces with tall ceilings, city views and skillful architectural detailing, are tailored to the needs of creative individuals involved in visual and performing arts and all aspects of the entertainment industry.
Reinvigorating the Soul of the City
Lacy Studio Lofts emerged from four rescued, low-rise vintage industrial buildings on approximately 100,000 square feet of land. The new lofts will help improve a nearly forgotten neighborhood. At the turn of the 19th century, Lincoln Heights was an upscale bedroom community with lavish Victorian mansions. A hundred years later, the area is recovering from a long decline. Today’s artistic lofts are in the vanguard of the transformation of Lincoln Heights into a diverse, vibrant expression of the soul of the city.
“We believe passionately in this neighborhood, and to create Lacy Studio Lofts, we came and immersed ourselves in what we see as the heart and soul of Los Angeles,” said Howard Sadowsky, Vice Chairman of Creative Environments.
Bright, Airy Spaces, Elegant Design
The residences offer open, flexible floor plans with high ceilings and open upper mezzanines, sleek polished concrete flooring, and private and semi-private patios. The stylishly landscaped outdoor common spaces are perfectly suited for outdoor kitchens, lounging areas, reflecting pools and fire pits. Lacy Studio Lofts are secure, with gated parking and a biometric entry system.
Features found in some of the project’s 45 units include exposed brick walls, custom steel spiral staircases with inlaid acrylic style treads, anodized aluminum frame “storefront” windows and oversized doors and custom steel frame exterior walls with large flip-up or pivot style doors. Other stylish amenities include LED accent lighting and private and semi-private patios with barbeque pits.
The state-of-the-art kitchens have luxurious design details, including sleek Italian cabinetry with flat-style lacquered aluminum framed drawers and doors, custom steel countertops, stainless steel appliance packages, and colored glass backsplashes. The bathrooms are designed with custom stainless steel countertops, brushed chrome fixtures, fluted glass and glass-paneled open showers.
