A man has been charged and is scheduled to be arraigned for vandalizing a religious Sikh temple property in Buena Park. Brodie Durazo, 21, Buena Park, is charged with one felony count of vandalism of a religious property, and two misdemeanor counts each of vandalism under $400. If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum sentence of three years in state prison. Durazo is out of custody and posted $20,000 bail today

A man was sentenced today to 25 years to life in state prison for the strangling murder of his wife in their Irvine apartment. Shalabh Rastogi, 42, Irvine, was found guilty by a jury on Nov. 17, 2015, of one felony count of first degree murder.

A 35-year-old man was sentenced yesterday to two consecutive terms of life in state prison without the possibility of parole for the special circumstance murders of two people more than four and a half years ago, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

C.W. Driver, a premier builder serving the Western U.S. since 1919, has completed construction on the renovation and modernization of the East Tower Nursing Unit at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, located just east of San Diego in La Mesa, California. The $26 million project delivers facility upgrades local taxpayers approved on the June 2006 voter ballot. Construction on the 71,000-square-foot project began in May 2012 and completed in October 2015.
