DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CA – June 12, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — CREW-LA, Los Angeles’ premiere trade and networking organization for women, as well as men, from a variety of real estate professions, has invited Jan Perry, Councilwoman for Los Angeles’ Ninth District, to present at its June 13, 2012 luncheon at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel located at 506 S. Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. “What’s in the Pipeline?” will look at current and future commercial real estate projects in Los Angeles and their impact, from Perry’s perspective, on the economic growth of the City.
“This will be a highly informative event for anyone involved or interested in commercial real estate developments in Los Angeles and we invite everyone to register,” said Trudi Lesser, board president of CREW-LA. “Perry will also provide her experienced insights into the challenges and opportunities in developing real estate projects in downtown Los Angeles and other city centers, as well as address infill development and infrastructure improvements, affordable housing and renewable energy projects.”
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and networking, followed by the lunch and program, which will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $45 for CREW-LA members/$60 for non-members through June 8, 2012. Since 2001, Councilwoman Jan Perry has worked to increase economic development opportunities in the Ninth District of Los Angeles. She has worked with investors and developers to create 90,000 new jobs and 5,000 affordable housing units there.
