The 7thAnnual HBANC Women ’s Council Spring Basket Event fosters a sense of community, competition and fun. Donated baskets are filled with household supplies, personal care items, and other themed gift s.Last years ’ event resulted in more that 60 baskets donated to Shepherd ’s Gate a HomeAid charity. Not only is this event open to members of the HBANC, it is also open to the public.
Shepherd ’s Gate has earned a reputation for rebuilding shattered lives.Since 1984,they have helped over 8,000 battered and homeless women and children in our backyard. These baskets will go to the women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.
The event also includes two Award Winning, Fortune 500 speakers, Diane Fleck, owner of The Learning Café and Rogene Baxter, owner of The Bridgewater Group.
Diane will discuss, “It takes a Village – To create success.” In today’s business environment it seems to be the year of the hybrid. This new way of thinking and doing business encourages collaboration, networking and creativity.
The main speaker, Rogene, will discuss, “Creating Momentum: The Power of Intentional Choice.” A way to make choices at any given moment to increase momentum and create results. This is a
message of action, both exciting and practical.
They will introduce the acclaimed 212-degree short DVD, http://www.212movie.com.
