The Metro Board today approved Mayor and Metro Chair Eric Garcetti’s motion to launch a multi-million dollar transit-oriented affordable housing and business development fund.

WASHINGTON, DC - October 21, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today Congressman Mike Thompson announced that the Rural Community Assistance Corporation will receive $2 million as part of the CDFI’s Capital Magnet Fund Program through the Treasury Department. These funds will allow the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) to support local single and multifamily affordable housing projects in rural areas.

San Francisco, CA - June 29, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) --The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco) awarded $32.5 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grants in the first round of its 2010 funding competition. The grants approved by the Bank’s Board of Directors in AHP Round A were awarded to 60 projects that address the diverse affordable housing needs of communities in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington, and will produce or preserve 3,375 housing units that are affordable to lower-income individuals and families.
