SAMCAR Brings “Future of the Housing Market” to San Mateo County

San Mateo, CA – February 7, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The state of the local housing market is a highly scrutinized subject matter as the housing market is a barometer of the financial health of San Mateo County. To bring answers, clarity and a bit of a crystal ball to see what is in store for the housing market in 2011, the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® is hosting California Association of REALTORS® Chief Economist, Leslie Appleton-Young, along with Mike Simonsen, CEO, Altos Research to provide a housing forecast at the “Future of the Housing Market and Real Estate Technology” conference on Thursday, February 17th at the San Mateo Elks Lodge from 9:30 am-4:00 pm.

Nationally known presenter, Nicole Nicolay, CCO, Agent Evolution, will be providing real estate professionals with the real estate technology trends and tools for 2011 during her presentation in the afternoon. To get attendees talking about the trends and information they heard during the conference, a mini-REBarCamp will be held to provide open discussion forums during the latter part of the day. A networking reception will end this exciting day.
