WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 4, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The Sacramento Marina is gearing up for what they are calling “the best season” since 2005. Despite low lake and river levels in the drought, the Sacramento Marina is among several marinas in the Sacramento/Delta area that are fortunate to have enough water for boating this summer. Combined with lower gas prices and recently added amenities, the City’s marina manager expects a busy boating season.
“It’s a very exciting time for us in this industry and for this marina. I really feel we are at the right place at the right time,” said Marina Manager Keith Underwood.
The Sacramento Marina is a 475 slip public marina at the southern end of Front Street, nestled behind beautiful Miller Park on the east side of the Sacramento River. It’s the largest, most convenient and only off-river dockage marina in the Sacramento area. The marina location is located close to Old Sacramento and music events at riverside establishments.
A few events will be held at the Marina this season, one of which is National Marina Day. The event is free and open to the public.

The public marina also has:
- lowered slip rates
- stocked up supplies, beverages and snacks at the administrative office store and fuel dock store on the water
