Oceanwide Launches “The Collection at Oceanwide Plaza”


New retail leasing website unveiled featuring a never-before-seen, fly-through video of Oceanwide Plaza’s new shopping and restaurant complex

LOS ANGELES – May 20, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — Oceanwide Plaza, LLC officially launches “The Collection at Oceanwide Plaza” brand in downtown Los Angeles today, with the unveiling of its leasing website, CollectionAtOceanwide.com, for the development’s retail and restaurant complex currently under construction. Global real estate company Kennedy Wilson serves as the exclusive leasing agent for Oceanwide Plaza’s 153,000 square feet of retail, which is part of the $1 billion mixed-use project developed by Beijing-based Oceanwide Holdings Co Ltd. The leasing website debuts The Collection through a 3-D animated, fly-through video, offering new details of the project, which is scheduled for completion in 2018.

Designed by CallisonRTKL with a vision to capture the energy radiating from Staples Center and L.A. Live, the two-story, open air retail space creates a strong pedestrian experience. Common areas throughout the project will feature art installations, exhibitions and community events. Along with specialty stores, a wide variety of eateries and convenience uses will also be included in the complex.

Located on a 4.6-acre parcel between 11th and 12th streets on Figueroa, Oceanwide Plaza is situated adjacent to the Metro’s Pico Station at Flower and 12th streets, allowing visitors ease of travel to the retail center as a shopping destination and complement to Staples Center and L.A. Live.
