November 30, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — CHF | CIRB released their July 2012 California Construction Review to subscribers last week. The review demonstrates the positive turn in the construction industry has taken over the past year. A few highlights from the report include:
Total units issued decreased 13.7% in July 2012 when compared to June 2012 and increased 102.0% when compared to July 2011.
Year-to-date permits have increased 21.2% from the same time frame in 2011, increasing from 25,931 permits issued between January and July 2011 to 31,439 total permits for the same time frame in 2012.
According to the California Employment Development Department construction jobs have increased by 0.9% between July and August of this year and 6.0% from August 2011.
