“Though they are located across the country and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in their two-county California region through grants to local non-profits, The Community Foundation has chosen to help enhance our quality of life in Central Florida,” stated Coalition President/CEO Brent A. Trotter. “The Coalition could not be more grateful.”
The generous donation will support delivery of transitional housing services to women and children residing at the Coalition’s Women’s Residential and Counseling Center (WRCC).
Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida and the largest residential facility for children. On any given night, we provide services to an average of 650 men, women and children. Nearly 200 are children with an average age of eight years old.
