Ariel Archer, 26, of Richmond, Va., entered the plea to one misdemeanor count of trespass and refusing to leave private property in case 5PY07822.
Deputy District Attorney Ann Korban said that as a result of the plea a criminal protective order was issued prohibiting Archer from coming within 150 yards from the Smith family and their home.
Additionally, the defendant was sentenced to three years summary probation.
On March 21, Archer was found inside the Smith’s kitchen by a housekeeper, the prosecutor said. The family was not home at the time.
The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Lost Hills Station.
