WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS TO AUCTION 9+/- MILES OF UNDEVELOPED PACIFIC OCEANFRONT LAND
Auction Presents Rare Investment Opportunity for Developers and Real Estate Investors to Acquire Pristine Coastal Property
Tulsa, Okla. – April 20, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Williams & Williams, the premier brand in real estate auctions, today announced it will auction Flor de California, 9+/- miles of undeveloped Pacific coastline consisting of 11,452+/- acres (4,634 +/- hectares) of oceanfront land in Baja California Sur, Mexico. This exceptional property features wide white sand beaches, gentle swimmable surfs and substantial dunes with magnificent ocean views. The beachfront land presents attractive potential for future development as a significant tourist destination, private compound, vacation resort area, ecotourism retreat and other possibilities. Sealed bids are due by Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. EDT and must be accompanied by a $250,000 deposit.
“Flor de California is a special property,” said Dave Meinhardt, seller of the property. “When I crossed over the dunes it literally took my breath away.”
Flor de California’s topography consists of significant dunes that slope toward the ocean, providing unobstructed views of the dazzling sunsets. The land boasts many natural attributes in each parcel, including arroyos of varying size and a water feature teaming with fish and wildlife. The land behind the dunes stretches several miles from the ocean to the rear of the site and features an abundance of cacti and other types of vegetation.
Baja California Sur, Mexico is known for its untamed beauty. Its dry, warm and sunny climate and year-round average temperature between 73 and 77 degrees F (23 to 25 degrees C) make this area an ideal vacation spot.
“Each of the five parcels being auctioned offers a developer or investor unique opportunities,” said Dan Falls, Williams & Williams’ vice president of commercial real estate. “A major developer has the opportunity to create a resort destination on the level of a Cancun or Cabo.”
Flor de California is located approximately 45 miles from Manuel Márquez de León International Airport in La Paz, Mexico, and roughly 62 miles south of several popular tourist bays including the Bahia Magdalena.
Flor de California is the latest high-profile property being auctioned by Williams & Williams in recent weeks. The company managed the sale of “The Nation’s Smallest Town” in Buford, Wyoming which attracted interest from 110 countries and sold to a Vietnamese buyer for $900,000.
