Lockway Will Serve as Vice Chair of the Orange County Department of Real Estate Council
Aliso Viejo, CA – December 7, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — MERIT Association Services, a consulting firm specializing in providing builders and developers with planning services, announce that Aaron Lockway, LEED AP, Assistant Vice President of MERIT Association Services, will serve as Vice Chair of the Building Industry Association’s (BIA) Orange County Department of Real Estate Council.
In his new role, Lockway works with other members of the BIA Orange County Department of Real Estate Council to discuss ways to assist real estate developer clients with submitting documents to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE). The Council also works with the DRE to improve the public report processing systems, ensure responsiveness for builders and developers as well as identify and work for long-term improvements to California’s public reporting regulations.
