Torrance, CA - October 29, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- The former office of Carroll Shelby, the American icon who made the AC-based Shelby American Cobra and later the Mustang-based performance cars for Ford Motor Company, was sold along with two other office buildings for $10.7 million.

The County of Los Angeles, which owns and manages Marina del Rey, along with owner and developer Jerry Epstein of Del Rey Shores, LLC, one of the original Marina del Rey developers from the 1960s, envisioned the need for renovation and redevelopment to meet the demand for new, quality, higher-density, contemporary apartment living near the ocean.
