HGA Architects and Engineers Add Renowned Design Leader to L.A. Practice

HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA), an integrated architecture, engineering and planning firm, announced today that renowned design leader, John Frane, has joined the firm as an associate vice president and principal in the Los Angeles office. As a design principal, Frane will continue his pursuit of high design work, combining his arts and culture-based experience with HGA’s extensive national resume of work in this arena.

Construction begins on $55 million HGA-designed studen success center at East Los Angeles College

MONTEREY PARK, CA - February 28, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Construction has begun on the HGA Architects and Engineers-designed Student Success and Retention Center at East Los Angeles College. Part of the campus’ ongoing initiative to build state-of-the-art, sustainable structures, the $55 million, 136,000-square-foot complex will consolidate various once-dispersed departments to create learning environments for the diverse student body. HGA’s project scope includes planning, design, interior design and sustainability, and is slated for completion in late 2014.

HGA-Designed Student Center at Monterey College Opens

Huff + Gooden and HGA to Lead $67.3 Million Expansion of the California African...

Torrance, CA - October 31, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Huff + Gooden Architects have been selected as lead design architects and HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) as the executive architect for the expansion and renovation of the California African American Museum (CAAM), located in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park. The $67.3 million project will include 77,000 square feet of new construction, as well as a renovation of 26,000 square feet of the existing museum. The project has completed the design phase and is awaiting funding for future phases of work.
