Torrance, CA – May 9, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Shelby Q. McMahon has joined the national real estate law firm Pircher, Nichols & Meeks as an associate. Based in the Los Angeles office, she focuses on various aspects of property transactions such as acquisitions, sales and financing.
As a former summer associate of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, McMahon gained experience in transaction financing and land use issues. Prior to returning to the firm as an associate attorney, she worked as a litigation associate for Manning, Leaver, Bruder & Berberich.
McMahon received her J.D. from the University of Chicago in 2009. While in law school, she represented wrongfully convicted clients as part of the university’s clinical program, The Exoneration Project. McMahon graduated from University of California, Davis, cum laude, in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She was admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California in 2010. McMahon is a Los Angeles native.
