Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, California has witnessed the most dramatic gains in health coverage nationwide and has provided residents with many insurance options. Repealing the ACA would leave 5.8 million Californians with pre-existing conditions at risk of losing their coverage. The uncertain future of a repeal without a viable replacement has left many people worried about the future of their coverage. Representatives McNerney, DeSaulnier and Thompson invite residents to join them for this town hall meeting to discuss the importance of protecting the ACA and ensuring that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care.
