GARDEN GROVE, CA. – September 9, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-46) held a Water Drought Briefing and Recognition event last Thursday to provide the public with an update on the California water drought crisis and valuable information on ways to increase water conservation.

“As we enter the fourth consecutive year of drought in California, it is important to keep a pulse on the current water supplies and how we can further conserve water,” said Rep. Sanchez. “In Washington, I recently co-sponsored H.R. 2983, the Drought Recovery and Resilience Act of 2015 which would address innovative water financing, improving infrastructure and water management, planning for future droughts, and other important factors.”
Rep. Sanchez welcomed a panel of water resources experts that provided an overview of water supplies in California, current groundwater replenishment systems, and local municipality conservation efforts. In addition, Rep. Sanchez recognized individuals and organizations in the district who have taken an active role in promoting and enacting water conservation efforts.
