September 21, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Lee & Associates, the nation’s largest broker-owned commercial brokerage firm, has closed on the $9 million sale of a 131,420-square-foot industrial property at 19161 E. Walnut Dr., in City of Industry, Calif.
Vice President Adam Dzierzynski and Senior Associate Dennis Keane of Lee & Associates’ City of Industry office represented buyer, JP Original, a designer of popular women’s shoes. Erik Larsen and Robin Dodson of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Unilever.
“This purchase puts JP Original in an excellent position to conduct its manufacturing and distributing business,” Dzierzynski said. “The property coincides well with this plan because of its location in a prime industrial region. In addition JP Original owns a 170,000-foot distribution facility next door.”
The single-story, 1982-built structure is centrally located in the city with close proximity to the 60 Freeway. The building also houses a fenced yard and comes with 4,000-amp capabilities, pit-mounted load levelers and dock locks and seals intact.
