Join our Team! CFSC seeks Grant Specialists for Sacramento and Glendora
WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 22, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The California Fire Safe Council, a non-profit corporation, has an immediate opening for a Grant Specialist to provide technical expertise and program implementation direction to a diverse array of grant recipients to achieve its mission of “mobilizing Californians to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfire”. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with an open communication style, strong computer capabilities (including learning customized software), and comfortable with budgets and financial analysis. Candidates must be capable of making independent decisions and flexible in terms of meeting deadlines.
For the selected candidate, the starting salary will be $52,000 plus benefits. Though prior work experience administering grants is a plus, off-site classes/training will be provided regardless of background to insure understanding of and compliance with all relevant grant regulations. A BS or BA degree in business or public administration or communications or economics or natural resources is preferred.

Grant Specialist (Temporary) at CFSC Headquarters at Glendora (Position available for up to one year, at this time)
