J.C. Casillas Joins NAI Capital as Director of Research and Public Relations

Mr. Casillas brings 17 years of commercial real estate market research know-how. In this newly created role, he will work with senior management to build a research department and create a proprietary database for commercial real estate market research and analysis. Additionally, Mr. Casillas will work closely with the local office’s executive vice president / branch managers to oversee the market research operations and public relations efforts.
Mr. Casillas previously served as regional vice president, director of research and marketing of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s 7 Southern California offices. Before that, he was regional research services manager at Grubb & Ellis and was awarded the Spirit of Grubb & Ellis for his outstanding service to the L.A. Metro Region. In addition, he obtained a Grubb & Ellis Industrial Group Global Logistics Certification.
Mr. Casillas holds a B.S. from the University of Southern California in public policy and management with a minor in business. He is a former committee member of the University of Southern California’s, Lusk Center for Real Estate, Casden Real Estate Economics Industrial and Office Forecast.
