The Yolo County Real Estate Fraud Advisory Team brings together industry professionals and law enforcement to help protect citizens of Yolo County from becoming victims of predatory scams and other fraud directed at those involved in real estate transactions. The advisory team will educate professionals and consumers about how to protect against, detect and report suspicious or fraudulent behavior or practices. Outreach activities of the Real Estate Fraud Advisory Team will be focused on educating the community and professionals in an effort to enhance consumer protection, professional integrity, and to provide law enforcement with the necessary tools to address real estate fraud. Enforcement will be accomplished through investigation and prosecution by members of the Real Estate Fraud Unit at the District Attorney’s Office.
