Residential:
- Total new housing units in building permits issued for the month of November 2013 totaled 6,673, up 10% from 6,073 units in October of 2013 and up 40% from 4,760 units in November of 2012.
- Single-Family units totaled 2,394, down 23% from 3,092 units in October of 2013 and 6% from 2,552 units in November of 2012.
- Multi-Family permits increased by 44% in November 2013 when compared to October 2013, also revealing a 94% increase when compared to November 2012.
- The dollar volume of residential building totaled $ 1,684,058,279 in November 2013, down 13% from October 2013 and up 38% from the same time last year.
Non-residential:
- Building permits issued in November 2013 for private non-residential building have a total construction value of $ 2,824,624,300, increasing 74% from October 2013 and by 126% as compared to November 2012.
