- Total new housing units in building permits issued for the month of December 2013 totaled 10,077, up 49% from 6,752 units in November of 2013 and up 57% from 6,416 units in December of 2012.
- Single-Family units totaled 3,560, up 45% from 2,449 units in November of 2013 and 36% from 2,611 units in December of 2012.
- Multi-Family permits increased by 51% in December 2013 when compared to November 2013, also revealing a 71% increase when compared to December 2012.
- The dollar volume of residential building totaled $ 2,283,890,397 in December 2013, up 33% from November 2013 and up 49% from the same time last year.
Non-residential:
- Building permits issued in December 2013 for private non-residential building have a total construction value of $ 1,545,212,606, decreasing 45% from November 2013 and increasing by .32% as compared to December 2012.
