2010 Housing Market Forecast set for Oct. 7
SAN JOSE, CA – October 7, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2009, the state’s largest real estate trade show, opens today at 5 p.m. at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, Calif. Running Oct. 6-8, CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2009 features more than 50 cutting-edge seminars, hot new products, and networking opportunities for California REALTORS®. CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2009 also offers more than 150 exhibit booths and is expected to attract more than 7,000 attendees. Educational seminars range from hands-on computer training and social networking for business to short sales and home staging.“CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2009 provides an invaluable networking and educational opportunity to California REALTORS®,” said C.A.R. The exhibit hall for CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2009 opens at 5 p.m. on Oct. 6. All exhibitors will be on-hand, ready to showcase their newest products and services for the real estate industry. At the C.A.R. booth (#528), REALTORS® can enter a prize drawing for an iPod touch. Throughout EXPO, attendees also can participate in games and enter drawings for laptops and other prizes.

Prepare for the year ahead with C.A.R. Vice President and Chief Economist Leslie Appleton-Young as she presents the Association’s 2010 Housing Market Forecast. Appleton-Young will share valuable information and insights about California’s housing market, including projected home sales, median prices, housing affordability, and mortgage rates and availability.
