WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 15, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Mr. Adams will oversee the redevelopment of Potrero Terrace and Annex, a large-scale, mixed-income, mixed-use public housing revitalization effort in San Francisco. He will report to Senior Vice President Whitney Weller. BRIDGE is a nationally recognized nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing.

Mr. Adams is a licensed architect with more than 20 years of experience in housing and community development. He comes to BRIDGE from MidPen Housing Corporation, where he was a Director of Housing Development, overseeing development of multifamily affordable housing projects throughout the Bay Area. Previously, Mr. Adams spent six years at the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing; as Director of Program Development, he led key initiatives, developed new programs and directed legislative activities. Among his accomplishments at MOH, he served as MOH’s staff lead for the Proposition C $1.5 billion Housing Trust Fund; conceived, designed and implemented the Green Retrofit Initiative; and coordinated HOPE SF site entitlements for Potrero and Sunnydale. He earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin (Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude) and a Masters of Architecture from UC Berkeley.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dan to the team,” said Cynthia A. Parker, President & CEO of BRIDGE Housing. “Dan’s public- and private-sector experience will greatly benefit Potrero, particularly as it moves toward the first phase of construction.”

Mr. Adams’ role previously was held by Emily Weinstein, who has been overseeing Potrero development for five years. “Emily has done a stellar job as Director of Potrero, and she will be transitioning into a broader role at BRIDGE,” said Ms. Parker. Working with Vice President Susan Neufeld, Ms. Weinstein will help lead BRIDGE’s commitment to deepen community development and improve neighborhoods at multiple sites across its project pipeline.
