Assembly Speaker Pérez to headline morning briefing at C.A.R.’s Legislative Day
SACRAMENTO, CA – May 7, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Nearly 2,000 California REALTORS® will be in Sacramento Wednesday, June 9, to participate in the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®’ (C.A.R.) 40th Annual Legislative Day activities.
Among the day’s events are opportunities for REALTORS® to meet with the state’s political leaders. During the morning briefing, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the SacramentoConvention Center, Assembly Speaker John Pérez (D-Los Angeles) and Senator Dennis Hollingsworth (R-Murrieta) will speak about issues affecting the real estate industry.
Following the morning briefing, REALTORS® will meet with their elected officials during the afternoon. Later that evening, C.A.R.’s valued political contributors and state VIPs will mix and mingle with California’s power elite from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Capitol Reception at the Sheraton Grand Hotel.
