Orange County Interior Designer wins Project Playhouse Award
Orange County, CA – November 15, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Donna Puzifera has won the coveted award for best interior design from Home Aid Orange County’s Project Playhouse’s 20th annual event. The top honors came after a weeklong vote. Playhouse Village was on display at the Irvine Spectrum for five weeks in Irvine Spectrum Center October 9th Thru Sunday, November 6th. Each year the event culminates with the live auction of the playhouse creations.
“I had a lot of fun creating the interior for the ‘Little Diamond Head’ playhouse, although I usually don’t work on such a small scale.” said Donna. “We took elements of what we do in a full sized home and created a fun sized space for kids to enjoy. Truth is we had a hard time keeping the adults out of it. It’s a fun space to enjoy for years to come. I can see Dad watching sports or Mom reading a book long after the kids have moved out. It has full sized corner pocketing doors that open the space up and bring the outdoors in, an entertainment wall with a flat screen TV and lots of storage, a nice sized sofa, tropical light fixture and a teak deck complete with tiki torches.”
Ms. Puzifera is the principal designer at D for Design located in South Orange County. She has successfully completed many residential projects in Corona del Mar, Ritz Cove, Palm Springs and Hawaii but specializes in along the coast of Orange County.
