Inman News partners with C.A.R. to provide daily news feed for AgentNTouch iPhone application
Consumer-focused app provides tips for buyers, sellers, and much more
LOS ANGELES, CA – July 16, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) and Inman News today announced that Inman News will provide the daily news feed for C.A.R.’s newest iPhone application, AgentNTouch™. The app is consumer-focused and features tips for buyers and sellers, real estate terminology, current mortgage rates, mortgage calculators, educational videos, and current real estate news. AgentNTouch™ also enables REALTORS® to personalize the app and send neighborhood, open house, and listing information to clients.
With AgentNTouch™, REALTORS® can brand the opening screen of the application with a photograph or logo. The app also features a map to the REALTOR®’s office; links enabling consumers to call, e-mail, or refer the REALTOR®; and a menu option allowing the REALTOR® to add his/her own personalized links, including links to the IDX search on his/her Web site.
“The daily real estate news feed provided by Inman News will enable both REALTORS® and consumers to access breaking news, housing data, and real estate advice via their mobile device,” said C.A.R. Steve Goddard. “The app also provides REALTORS® with another venue to deliver timely and relevant data to their clients and demonstrate the value REALTORS® bring to the transaction.”
AgentNTouch™ is a subscription-based service for real estate professionals with a one-time set-up fee of $200 and an annual subscription fee of $99. Each subsequent year is $99. REALTORS® who register for a free, 30-minute webinar about AgentNTouch™ receive $50 off the set-up fee. Once subscribed to AgentNTouch™, REALTORS® can provide the app to an unlimited number of consumers at no cost to the consumer. The app, currently available for the iPhone, iTouch, and iPad, will be available for Android phones and the BlackBerry® later this summer.
