calREDD Multiple Listing Service launches at Amador County Association of REALTORS

-

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 22, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — calREDD® today announced that members of the Amador County Association of REALTORS® now can view properties for sale, place listings, prepare CMAs, and access agents for referrals via calREDD®, the multiple listing service(MLS), which officially launched in Jackson, Calif., today.

“The association is pleased and very excited to “go live” today on what we feel will be the next generation in MLS systems – calREDD®,” said Amador County Association of REALTORS® President Al Bozzo. “The process has been smooth, the training exceptional, and the attention to detail by the calREDD® team is second to none. Our members and their clients will benefit greatly by being part of the calREDD® MLS.”

calREDD® already has been successfully deployed at the Madera Association of REALTORS®, the Merced Association of REALTORS®, the Lake County Association of REALTORS®, the Chico Association of REALTORS®, the Oroville Association of REALTORS®, the Paradise Association of REALTORS®, the Mariposa County Board of REALTORS®, and the Yosemite Gateway Association of REALTORS®.  Learn what members are saying about the calREDD® system.

“Members of the Amador County Association of REALTORS® now have the ability to access the data they need in a timely and efficient way through an MLS that’s innovative, reliable, and flexible,” said REALTOR® Mike Silvas, CALMLS chairman. “We’re now concentrating on a successful launch at the Tehama County Association of REALTORS® scheduled for June 28.”

calREDD® enables brokers and agents to access the statewide data through any participating AOR or MLS. Associations and MLSs may be part of the system by using the new vendor as their primary software or under a hybrid arrangement using an association’s existing vendor connecting to the statewide system through calREDD® for the rest of the data. REALTOR® associations and multiple regional MLSs representing more than 120,000 members across the state have recognized the importance of a statewide MLS and have signed letters of intent to participate in this critical endeavor.

On June 14, calREDD® announced that the C.A.R. board of directors approved a new structure for the statewide MLS that will merge the efforts of calREDD® with the Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service Inc. (MRMLS). The new structure will create one dynamic multiple listing service (MLS) provider serving more than 33,000 real estate professionals and 22 REALTOR® associations statewide. The MRMLS board of directors representing its 12 member associations unanimously approved the proposal the previous month.

The 326-member Amador County Association of REALTORS®, based in Jackson, Calif., is dedicated to the promotion of high standards for the real estate professional and the advancement and protection of private property rights.

calREDD®, an acronym for California Real Estate Dynamic Data, embodies the long-term vision of creating one database for all California real property, with advanced technology that goes beyond current MLS systems.  calREDD® is a service of California MLS Inc. (CALMLS), a subsidiary of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.).
