MERIT brought home awards for On-Site Manager of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Volunteer of the Year

MERIT Community Manager Paula Lial was honored with the On-Site Manager of the Year award for her work at the Four Seasons Westshore located in Sacramento, CA. MERIT Community Manager John Dannon was honored with the Rookie of the Year award for his work at Heritage Park in Natomas, CA. This award is presented to an individual new to the chapter or to the community association industry who has demonstrating outstanding leadership and promoted the goals of CAI through education, volunteerism and participation. “John is impressive with respect to his grasp of the industry,” nominated anonymously by other industry professionals or volunteers. “He has made our community a competent community, one with higher property values, informed membership and great place to call home.”
MERIT Board Member Mike Pettis was honored with the Volunteer Leader of the Year award. This awards is presented to a community association volunteer leader whose unique individual contributions to his or her association greatly benefited the community. The nominee should be a homeowner who promotes a sense of community, harmony and pride and whose participation in CAI chapter activities supports the goals and missions of CAI. “Mike’s knowledge, expertise and intelligence shine through in whatever role he takes within CAI,” nominated anonymously by other industry professionals or volunteers. “He exemplifies attendance, sponsorship and volunteerism and as a business community, we are fortunate to call him a member.”
