WHO:             Enterprise Home Ownership Partners (EHOP), an Enterprise
                     sponsored program
WHAT:            Celebration and viewing of the first solar and energy
enhancing installations under the EHOP Green Grant
                     program
   WHEN:            Wednesday, December 5, 9:30 a.m.
   WHERE:           Homeowner's Home
                     520 S. Arizona Street
                     Los Angeles, CA 90022
FEATURED SPEAKER: Los Angeles County Superintendent Gloria Molina,
                     1st District
BACKGROUND: EHOP is premiering the first home fitted with energy
efficient improvements under their new Green Grants program.
Green Grants offers low-income homeowners of unincorporated
areas (S.D. 1) in East Los Angeles an opportunity to have
their homes fitted with photovoltaic panels (solar panels),
tankless water heaters, and/or ceiling and under floor
                insulation.
These environmentally responsive and sustainable enhancements
have the potential to save the homeowners with limited
resources up to 50 percent of their current energy bills. In
addition each 3KW solar system will remove nearly 5000 lbs of
CO2 in the first year — equal to planting one acre of trees.
