Plug Loads Matter: learn why and ways to save during Jan. 26 webinar
January 25, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — AÂ new study that examines energy used by plug loads in commercial office buildings will be featured during a webinar on Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. (Eastern). The results of the study and strategies that building owners and facilities managers can use to reduce energy demand from plug loads will be presented.

Developed under a Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) project in California, the study inventoried plug loads in two LEED-certified California buildings, conducted detailed metering on office equipment, and assessed the effectiveness of low- and no-cost energy reduction strategies. The webinar is hosted by ESource and includes presenters from New Buildings Institute and Ecova.
