Eleven Homebuyers in North Hollywood, CA Outbid Hundreds To Purchase a New Home

It was standing room only as the crowd of nearly 400 began to stream into the hotel more than two hours before the auction start time of 1:00PM. The auctioneer opened the bidding for each home at a published starting bid price that began at $195,000 for each of the three bedroom, three-and-one-half bath homes, measuring from 2,500 SF to 2,642 square feet. The bidding was highly active with all homes selling to the highest bidder in less than an hour at nearly double the starting bid price.

“These lucky homebuyers have now realized their dream of owning a brand new detached home,” said Rhett Winchell, president of the Kennedy Wilson Auction Group.
